Reykjavík

Reykjavík city centre is approximately forty five minutes by road from Keflavik airport and only 5 minutes away from the cruise terminal on the edge of town. Swim in open-air pools heated by the very geothermal springs that inspired Reykjavik's name. Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is where minerals bubble up from 5,000ft below the earth's surface. The charming old quarter of Reykjavík has colourful wooden houses and narrow streets. Visit the impressive volcanic craters of the Heidmork conservation area, and enjoy a stop at The Pearl, a remarkable and unique building, built in 1988.

Norwegian Star

This 91,740 tonne ship was launched in 2001 and revitalised in 2018 under the extensive Norwegian Edge ship upgrade programme. Norwegian Star can accommodate just 2348 passengers and shares the same class as her sister ship – Norwegian Dawn. This smaller sized ship packs in an amazing range of dining and entertainment activities.
