Amsterdam

This beautiful and friendly city is like the Venice of the North where Canals weave through historic streets, tulips bloom, cultural treasures abound. Bicycles and vibrant nightlife define Amsterdam's unique charm. Walk along the canal pathways and admire the narrow townhouses in spring enjoy the tulips that surround the city, visit the Anne Frank Museum, or admire the works of art at the Rijksmuseum dedicated to the Dutch art and history. This city has it all, vintage stores, cool coffee houses, cutting edge dining and a vibrant night life.

Make your way to the nearby cruise terminal to embark the boat for 6pm. Enjoy a welcome cocktail with the rest of the passengers and a meet and greet with the captain and crew.

MS Symphonie

Completey renovated in 2017, the MS Symphonie is a premium intimate-sized ship, measuring 110 m long and 10,40 m wide. It can accommodate 106 passengers, in 55 cabins spread over two decks. All cabins offer a variety of amenities and provide guests with all  the comforts they need during their stay.

The blue (referring to the beautiful blue Danube by Johann Strauss Jr.) and yellow tones of the decoration provide a cheerful, lively and light atmosphere.

After our excursion, we’ll return on board the ship. Our ship will begin to cruise to Breisach. Tonight is our festive gala evening.

Strasbourg

Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace, is a captivating blend of French and German influences, known for its medieval charm, half‑timbered houses and vibrant cultural scene. Its historic center, the Grande Île, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the breathtaking Strasbourg Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece crafted from pink Vosges sandstone.

Visitors can wander the romantic canals of La Petite France, explore the elegant Neustadt district with its grand boulevards, and discover superb museums at Palais Rohan. Strasbourg is also home to the European Parliament, reflecting its key role in European politics. Breisach

Breisach am Rhein is a picturesque Rhine‑side town in Baden‑Württemberg, known for its rich 4,000‑year history, scenic hilltop views and charming old‑world character. Set between the Black Forest and Alsace, the town invites visitors to wander its cobbled streets, riverside cafés and historic market square. Its iconic St. Stephen’s Minster stands atop the Münsterberg, offering panoramic views of the Rhine, the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains.

Breisach’s past includes Celtic origins, Roman fortifications and strategic importance through the Middle Ages and modern wars, with the Rhine Gate museum preserving its story. Today, the town is also celebrated for local wine culture, cultural trails and easy access to nearby vineyards and nature.

Disembark  the ship after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Basel

Basel, set along the scenic Rhine River, offers a vibrant mix of Swiss culture, waterfront promenades, and striking architecture. Its riverside paths and bridges make it perfect for strolls and boat tours. The city is renowned for world‑class museums, including contemporary art spaces and historic collections, cementing its status as a cultural capital. With Strasbourg located about 135–140 km from Basel, it's an excellent base for cross‑border exploration and enriching day trips.
